Our roots run deep in the outdoors. Ever since I was five and my mom finally unhooked the leash on the ski hill, it's been a full-send lifestyle: skiing, hiking, trail running, fishing, snowshoeing, XC, Tele skiing, snowboarding, or ripping my snowmobile through fresh powder. These adventures have shaped my life — and inspired the friends and fellow outdoor junkies who make up the Ascent Eyewear crew.

We’re united by one mission: to create the highest-performing, most durable eyewear designed specifically for mountain life and outdoor play.

Born on Mt. Hood, Built for the Wild
Ascent Eyewear is proudly designed and developed right here in our rugged backyard of Mt. Hood, Oregon. Our team is made up of pros who live and breathe the outdoors — people who don’t just wear Ascent gear, they test it every single day while pushing their limits in the elements.

That’s how we created our game-changing Luna Lens Technologies™ — polarized, photochromic, UV400 lenses with a zero-fog, hard-coated surface that resists scratches and adapts in real-time to changing light conditions. Sun too bright? Luna dims it. Light fading? Luna brightens it. It’s like having a one-lens quiver for all-day, everyday mountain missions.
